SAM 07 - DVD~The 2007 Bank of Ireland All Ireland Senior Football Championship - DVD~This double DVD brings together all the highlights of the season and captures all the excitement and the drama of the Gaelic Football Championship 2007.

For five years the All-Ireland title has been the preserve of three powerful counties, Armagh, Tyrone and Kerry. The champions start with impressive credentials: a strong and experienced team driven by Darragh O Se’s massive presence at centre field and the inspirational genius of Colm Cooper, at 24 already the greatest attacking talent in the game. Armagh has been patiently rebuilding and Tyrone will be many people’s favourites.

Once more Dublin, getting closer to the All-Ireland every year, will launch a formidable challenge while Cork, under the county’s most successful manager Billy Morgan, are hugely motivated by the crushing defeats they have suffered against Kerry in the past two years’ semi-finals in Croke Park and will be out for revenge.

It’s 17 years and counting since Cork won back-to-back All-Irelands in 1989-90. No county has retained the title more often than champions Kerry. Are they ready to do it again?

GAA-CLASSICS -MEATH V DUBLIN 1991 THE EPIC 4 GAME SAGA~THE ROYAL BATTLE MEATH V DUBLIN 1991~In 1991 Meath drew Dublin in the first round of the Leinster championship. It seemed at first hand to be the worst possible draw for the counties and the GAA but who was to know what was to follow. The contest was an enthralling one and ended up providing one of the most compelling stories, match action and drama in the history of Gaelic games. Not only that but it could also be argued that it was the beginning of a new era in the popularity of the GAA.The 'match' lasted 5 hours and 40 minutes, had 237,000 fans attending quite apart from the radio and TV audiences. And what about the dramatic ending where.......well you've got to see it !!!This double DVD retells the story of the 4 matches combining match action with recent contributions from the managers, players and officials who add their own perspective, anecdotes and memories - both on and off the field. The dramatic 4th match (3rd replay) is also included in full.

Football Review Of The Year 2004

It was a year that saw the old certainties crumble. Fermanagh became the people's team, swashbuckling their way through the qualifiers. Mayo stormed out of the West, playing the football of their lives. Westmeath erased 120 years of disappointment, by winning the Leinster title for the first time. And the Ulster Final went on the road and was played in front of 60,000 people in Croke Park.

But despite the shock of the new, All Ireland final day saw two provincial champions, Kerry and Mayo, battle it out for the title. One thing remains certain, amid all the changes. When it comes to winning All Irelands, no one does it better than the Kingdom.

Marooned

In Winter 2003 Páidí Ó Sé, a true legend of Gaelic football, stepped into the unknown. Shunned by his beloved Kerry homeland, he was a man with a point to prove.

Halfway across the country, a so-called weaker county was flexing its muscles. Westmeath has never won a provincial title and they awaited their new messiah with a bubbling passion that threatened to overflow.

It was double or nothing and the cameras were rolling.

Marooned follows the fortunes of Páidí Ó Sé and the Westmeath team as they journeyed together to their historic Leinster title. Boasting unprecedented behind the scenes access, it documents the passion that fuels the football year, from the painful sacrifice of the January rain to one glorious moment in the Midsummer sun.

With highlights from the best matches and the Irish sports documentary of the year, this is the definite record of a great year for Gaelic football.~FOOTBALL REVIEW OF THE YEAR 2004 & MAROONED - DVD|setdvd2004f|~7609~12471~~
