THE HORSES TAIL-CD~Zoe Conway~Zoë Conway is launching her eagerly anticipated second solo album, 'The Horse's Tail', in The Village on Monday the 9th of October 2006. This album is quite a change from her debut album as it was recorded as naturally as possible, without using modern-day techniques such as overdubbing and click tracks. The musicians all played live in the one room at the same time, and the result is an organic sound which harks back to old LP recordings and captures the raw energy of Irish traditional music. The CD contains a mixture of Zoë's original compositions alongside older traditional tunes. Zoë will be joined at the launch in The Village by two musicians who also feature on the CD, renowned guitarist, Steve Cooney and percussionist, Robbie Harris.

The DVD was recorded live in June 2006 at The Holy Trinity Church in Carlingford, in her native Co. Louth.
