Filmed over a 2 year period this documentary follows Tommy's attempt to make it in America. It features material filmed in the empty comedy clubs of New York, the language policy clubs of Washington & far flung places like Omaha, Sacramento & Houston. In his search for material & curious American expierences, he goes to a church service attended by 22,000 people, gets advice from a comedy coach, meets a squirrel eating Indian & gets his hands on a loaded gun.

Every experience is then filtered into the act and performed in front of the sometimes approving, and sometimes not, audience. The bonus footage features an entire gig at the infamous Stand Up New York, Tommy headlining this years Irish Gala at the "Just For Laughs" International Comedy Festival in Montreal and a very special montage of 10 years of Tommy's appearances on RTE's The Late Late Show.
