Leinster, led by inspirational captain Leo Cullen, are Champions of Europe once again!
 
Leinster were undefeated in the pool stages and with comprehensive victories in every home outing, were the most consistent side in Europe.
 
At the knock-out stages, Clermont in their own back-yard looked daunting but in true Leinster fashion they ground out a fantastic win that went right down to the wire.

And so an all Ireland Final showdown against Ulster. In a record breaking display that ended in a rout, Leinster romped to their third victory in four seasons and staked a claim as the finest side ever to have graced the Heineken Cup. A record number of Final tries were scored and they won with the biggest winning margin in Heineken Cup Final history.

Leinster are a team driven by belief and experience with leadership throughout the field exemplified by Leinster legends Brian O' Driscoll, ERC Player of the Year Rob Kearney, Jonathan Sexton and man-of-the-match Sean O'Brien. As O’Driscoll said after the game “after we won the Heineken Cup for the first time, we talked about creating a dynasty”.
